Job Title: Pediatric Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Children's Wisconsin - Milwaukee Campus.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to pediatric patients in our 24-bed pediatric cardiac ICU, 24-bed pediatric medical ICU, and 24-bed pediatric surgical ICU, as well as our 70-bed level IV NICU.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage respiratory care patients, including vent management, intubations, extubations, suctioning, and treatments.
  • Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Monitor and maintain patient records, including charting and documentation.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in pediatric critical care or NICU.
  • Ability to function on PICU and Level IV NICU.
  • Current certifications in AHA BLS, AHA PALS, NRP, and WI License.
  • Education: Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy.
