Job Summary

As an Environmental Services Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our hospital. Your primary responsibility will be to provide the highest quality of service at all times, ensuring that all areas of the hospital are clean and well-maintained.

You will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of corridors, patient floors, and public areas. This includes cleaning walls, doors, baseboards, windows, stairwells, and elevator tracks adjacent to corridors daily. You will also be responsible for removing all necessary equipment left in corridors and communicating with hospital team members and supervisors.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of corridors, patient floors, and public areas.
  • Clean walls, doors, baseboards, windows, stairwells, and elevator tracks adjacent to corridors daily.
  • Remove all necessary equipment left in corridors.
  • Communicate with hospital team members and supervisors.
Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

One (1) year of knowledge within acute care hospital environmental service techniques, practices, and procedures preferred.High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.Must be able to read, understand, and communicate effectively.
