Key Responsibilities of an Oven Tender:
- Prepare baked goods following precise standards, including baking times and temperatures.
- Optimize oven usage to ensure maximum capacity is utilized at all times.
- Handle the manual loading and unloading of baked products.
- Transport and organize products on racks as directed.
- Monitor oven operations and report any issues to the Maintenance Supervisor or Lead.
- Maintain accurate records and complete all necessary documentation.
- Ensure proper labeling of racks with accurate product information.
- Contribute to the annual GFSI/FSSC22000 audit and assist in developing procedures and corrective measures.
- High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
- At least 6 months of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Understanding of safety, quality, and GMP policies in a manufacturing environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required.
- Self-driven and motivated individual.
