Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Labor & Employment/Commercial Litigation Associate to join our top Am Law 200 firm client in their Salt Lake City office. The ideal candidate will possess 2-6 years of private practice experience, with a strong background in commercial litigation and/or labor and employment law.

Key Responsibilities

  • Counsel clients on various legal matters, including commercial litigation and labor and employment issues
  • Manage discovery, take depositions, and draft and argue briefs
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to resolve complex legal disputes
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives

Compensation and Benefits

Our client offers a competitive compensation package, with a merit-based system that rewards individual performance and contributions to the team. Associates are also eligible for a generous bonus program and fee splits.

Expectations

  • Invest 1800 hours on billable matters
  • Complete 75 hours of pro bono/public service work (or 50 hours of pro bono legal work)
  • Dedicate at least 25 hours to diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
