Key Responsibilities- Assist with the setup and maintenance of anesthesia equipment and supplies
- Monitor and maintain patient vital signs and anesthesia levels
- Provide support with patient preparation and positioning for surgery
- Assist with the administration of anesthesia medications and monitoring of patient response
- Collaborate with the anesthesia provider to develop and implement anesthesia plans of care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
- Graduate of an accredited program in Anesthesia Technology with an AS degree or certified by the American Society of Technologists and Technicians (ASATT)
- High School Diploma
- I.V. Certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- Anesthesia Technician Certificate from American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians
- Basic Life Support
- Certificate of training for Drager, GE, or other anesthesia delivery systems, if not a graduate of a program
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in a Cardiac OR and/or Level 1 trauma center
