About the Role

Pacific Life is seeking a highly skilled Investment Operations Analyst to join our Fixed Income Operations team. This role will play a key part in the company's growth and success by demonstrating expertise in investment operations and regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with financial institutions, custodian banks, and internal teams to facilitate timely settlement and processing of investment-related transactions.
  • Lead new 3rd party onboarding and asset transition projects, ensuring seamless integration with internal systems.
  • Process investment-related fundings, including capital calls, and conduct regular income, position, and security master reconciliations.
  • Work closely with front office teams to handle issues and inquiries, and collaborate with Accounting, Compliance, and Audit teams to ensure compliance with established controls and best practices.
  • Manage onboarding of new investments, ensuring accurate inclusion in internal systems and tracking of relevant terms.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in fixed income operations or a related field, with a strong understanding of investment operations, regulatory frameworks, and technology.
  • College degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex financial concepts and recognize patterns.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in financial systems, including Bloomberg, Excel, Business Objects, Power BI, and ePAM.

  • A competitive salary range of $108,000 to $132,000, depending on experience.
