Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Advir Health Care Systems. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care and safety for our clients.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse will work under the direct supervision of the Administrator and will be responsible for providing competent care and safety to all clients. This includes supervising LPN, CNA, and Direct Care Staff, supporting individuals in attaining personal goals and desires, and ensuring the safety and security of individuals.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the care of clients, including administering medications, providing wound care, and monitoring vital signs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
  • Provide education and training to clients and their families on health-related topics and disease management.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of care and services provided.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client care and services provided.
  • Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to healthcare and client care.
Requirements:
  • Current RN license in the state of Georgia.
  • First Aid/CPR/NCIC/DBHDD clearance.
  • 2+ years of nursing experience.
  • At least 6 months experience working in a skilled nursing or assisted living facility with individuals living with dementia, geriatric, or disoriented individuals.
  • Capable of lifting 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Maintains current driver's license if doing transportation.
  • Positive attitude, flexibility, and ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Fluent in the written and spoken English language.
  • Training as required by DBHDD.
  • Ongoing training as directed by the Administrator.
