Payroll Specialist

Vaco is seeking a dedicated Payroll Specialist to join their team in the insurance industry. As a leading company, they value precision, efficiency, and attention to detail in managing payroll operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll management and be able to contribute to the company's commitment to excellence. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing biweekly and semimonthly payroll, auditing timesheets, and staying up to date on payroll laws and regulations.

• Process biweekly and semimonthly payroll
• Audit timesheets and review payroll data for accuracy
• Stay up to date on payroll laws and regulations
• Run payroll reports and track mileage
• Assist with Payroll and HR audit and onboarding/offboarding of employees

• Experience processing payroll and strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance
• Excellent attention to detail and flexibility to adapt to changes
• Experience and proficiency in Ceridian and MS Excel
• Excellent communication and prioritization skills and ability to meet deadlines
