About the Payroll Specialist Position:

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team at Vaco. As a leading company in the insurance industry, we value precision, efficiency, and a keen eye for detail in managing payroll operations.

The successful candidate will process biweekly and semimonthly payroll, audit timesheets, and stay up to date on payroll laws and regulations. They will also run payroll reports, track and manage mileage, and assist with Payroll and HR audit.

Essential Functions for the Payroll Specialist:

  • Process biweekly and semimonthly payroll
  • Audit timesheets and review payroll data for accuracy
  • Stay up to date on payroll laws and regulations
  • Run payroll reports
  • Track and manage mileage
  • Assist with Payroll and HR audit

Preferred Requirements for the Payroll Specialist:

  • Experience processing payroll
  • Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changes
  • Experience and proficiency in Ceridian and MS Excel
  • Excellent communication and prioritization skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
