Job Title:

Assistant Professor of Clinical - Medicine, Endocrinology

Job Summary:

The University of Miami seeks a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Professor of Clinical - Medicine, Endocrinology to join our team. As a key member of our faculty, you will provide high-quality medical care to patients with endocrine diseases, conduct examinations, assess and evaluate symptoms, determine conditions, and prescribe medical treatment or services.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide outpatient care to patients primarily at UHealth Doral location and other satellite practices.
  • Provide inpatient care to patients at UHealth- Main Campus and Jackson Memorial Hospital.
  • Engage in training of Endocrinology fellows, residents, and medical students.
  • Oversee mid-level medical staff as assigned as well as nursing clinical staff.
Qualifications:
  • MD Degree and ACGME US internal medicine internship and residency.
  • Valid American Board Certification in Endocrinology (or board eligible).
  • Valid unrestricted Florida Medical License or eligible to apply.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of and ability to apply professional medical principles, procedures, and techniques.
  • Maintain CME to meet institutional and state licensing requirements.
  • Must have excellent clinical knowledge and experience to provide safe and quality care to patients and meet institutional standards of care.
  • Current BLS certification required. ACLS (if applicable).
  • Valid DEA licensure.
