Position Overview: The primary role of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is to deliver personalized nursing care to our residents. The LPN collaborates with the nursing team to evaluate patient needs, develop care plans, and implement necessary interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and individualized nursing care to residents.
- Administer and document medications in line with facility protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of medical equipment and supplies.
- Prepare residents for medical procedures, explaining the purpose and process.
- Provide emergency care as prescribed.
- Respond to residents' call lights and assist as needed.
- Monitor and assess residents' conditions and vital signs, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Document nursing history and physical assessments for assigned residents.
- Participate in the development of individualized care plans.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- A minimum of one year of experience in long-term care.
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification.
