As a Maintenance Repair Technician 2, you will work in a team environment to maintain and repair our aviation equipment, ensuring that it is in good working condition and meets the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities
  • Proficiently maintain and repair all BHS and related electrical/mechanical equipment and components
  • Provide accurate and detailed data for input into our CMMS system
  • Conduct comprehensive troubleshooting, problem-solving, and diagnostic analyses to identify and repair electrical, mechanical, and controls equipment issues
  • Inspect power circuits and electrical wiring to ensure proper troubleshooting techniques and repair or replace components as needed
  • Monitor and analyze daily operations and data statistics to identify issues and implement corrective actions
  • Oversee the maintenance program, including reactive, preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance
  • Provide timely critical information to keep the Supervisor and Site Manager informed of crucial situations and conditions
  • Perform emergency/unscheduled and scheduled maintenance repairs of equipment
  • Drive and operate different equipment, such as golf carts, company vehicles, and forklifts
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and services
  • Support operations by clearing bag jams on the system
  • Comply with the company safety program and trainings
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned
Physical Demands

As a Maintenance Repair Technician 2, you will be required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear.

You will also be required to climb or balance and work in small spaces, and lift and/or move up to 49 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include good close proximity vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Good hand-eye coordination is also required.

Work Environment

The work environment is similar to airport operation with vehicular traffic.

You will be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, high, precarious places, outside weather conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, cold, and vibration.

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Employees will work on an airport ramp around aircrafts and around heavy equipment.
