Lumber Handler

Snelling is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Lumber Puller to join their team in Byron Center, Michigan.

We are looking for a skilled individual to pull various lengths of cut lumber from the machine/conveyor, placing it in carts of lumber and sorted by length and dimension. The ideal candidate will have excellent hand-eye coordination, be proactive, and able to lift 50 lbs repetitively throughout their shift.

• Pull lumber from the machine/conveyor and place it in carts, sorted by length and dimension.
• Be alert and have good hand-eye coordination to ensure accurate and efficient work.
• Assist with repairs safely, following proper lockout procedures when necessary.
• Lift 50 lbs repetitively throughout the shift.
• Work 10-hour shifts, 5 days a week, in an outdoor environment.
• Keep the work area clean and organized at all times.
