Lumber Handler

Snelling is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Lumber Puller to join their team in Byron Center, Michigan. The successful candidate will be responsible for pulling various lengths of cut lumber from the machine/conveyor, placing it in carts of lumber and sorted by length and dimension.

• Pull lumber from the machine/conveyor and place it in carts of lumber, sorted by length and dimension.
• Be alert and have hand-eye coordination to ensure safe and efficient work.
• Assist with repairs safely, following proper lockout procedures when necessary.
• Lift 50 pounds repetitively throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, stretch, and pull lumber towards the body.
• Work 10-hour shifts, 5 days a week, in an outdoor environment.
• Keep the work area clean and organized at all times.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to make necessary decisions and organize work efficiently.
• Clear background and reliable transportation.
