Job Summary

Queen City Hospice is seeking a compassionate and skilled Hospice Chaplain PRN to provide spiritual care and bereavement counseling to patients and their families. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the spiritual and emotional needs of our patients are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct spiritual bereavement assessments of patients and families/caregivers in a timely manner
  • Provide direct spiritual care and bereavement counseling to patients and families/caregivers
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document patient services accurately and timely
  • Participate in Continuous Care and on-call, if necessary
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited seminary or school of theology and/or a certificate of ordination or commission from a religious faith group
  • Previous hospice experience working with death and dying preferred
  • Comfortable in an interfaith setting and able to accept different lifestyles, cultures, beliefs, and values
