Key Responsibilities
  • Food Quality and Safety: Ensure that all food is prepared and served to the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Team Management: Supervise and train a team of food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and food quality.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies, and maintaining accurate records of food and equipment.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to students, faculty, and staff, responding to feedback and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, as well as university policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with two years of experience in institutional or commercial food preparation, including one year of supervisory experience.
  • Skills: Ability to follow detailed oral and written instructions, direct and manage the work of others, and maintain accurate records.
  • Knowledge: Considerable knowledge of food preparation, health hazards, and safety precautions, as well as knowledge of food values and menu planning.
