About the Role

AECOM is seeking an experienced Process Safety Engineer to join our team in the West Region. As a key member of our EHS + Air practice within the Environment Business Line, you will be responsible for supporting clients with their Process Safety Management (PSM), Risk Management Plan (RMP), and Health and Safety (H&S) regulatory compliance needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Executing PSM, RMP, and H&S projects for clients in the consulting industry.
  • Supporting EHS business development efforts, including preparation of technical and cost proposals, to grow our PSM, RMP, and H&S compliance work with existing and new clients.
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with clients to enhance client retention and growth.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering.
  • 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education with PSM survey and H&S regulatory compliance experience.
  • Ability to travel up to approximately 2 weeks per month to conduct PSM or H&S audits.
  • Valid US Driver's License and pre-employment driving record verification is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in chemical engineering.
  • 6 years of PSM survey and H&S regulatory compliance experience and its application.
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Process Safety Auditor (CPSA) credentials.
