Job Title: Process Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team at Diedre Moire Corp. in St. Louis Park, MN.

Job Summary:

The Process Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing injection molding processes using scientific molding principles to achieve Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery targets for injection molded automotive parts manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement injection molding processes, including process design, process plan, design plan for production, track tool and equipment progress report, problem follow-up sheet, injection process condition sheet, PFMEA, and work instructions.
  • Utilize AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Moldex 3D software for mold design, cell layout design, mold plastic flow simulation, etc.
  • Program work cells integrating tooling, robotics, and end-of-arm tooling.
  • Qualify molds and secondary equipment for new and existing products as needed.
  • Develop and implement action plan activities to improve safety, quality, production, delivery, and 5S.
  • Drive productivity improvements through Single-Minute Exchange of Dies and Total Productive Maintenance activities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in plastics manufacturing, process engineering, or a related field.
