Ingram Content Group is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Specialist to support our operations. This role involves working under minimal supervision to conduct intricate diagnostics and repairs related to our distribution center's infrastructure and machinery.
The specialist is tasked with ensuring that all equipment within the distribution center is properly maintained, executing a variety of duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and uphold facility equipment to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standards.
This position collaborates with management to provide daily assistance to internal stakeholders and the maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess equipment malfunctions and deliver complex emergency repairs.
- Ensure that repairs and equipment downtime do not adversely affect service level agreements.
- Perform advanced technical tasks, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs of production and facility machinery.
- Interpret equipment manuals and work orders to execute necessary maintenance and services.
- Conduct regularly scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Identify faulty operations and defective materials, making necessary repairs while reporting unusual situations to appropriate supervision.
- Operate motorized equipment as required for repairs, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist in maintaining documentation for facility and equipment.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of one year experience as a technician in a production or manufacturing setting, or equivalent education.
- General knowledge of facility electrical wiring and power distribution.
- Understanding of mechanical functions and applications.
- Ability to read and comprehend electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Proficient in electrical troubleshooting, with knowledge of AC/DC control wiring and relay logic.
- Basic understanding of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
- Capability to troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment.
- Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with servo, hydraulic, and pneumatically actuated equipment.
- Knowledge of Maintenance Management Systems.
Work Schedule:
D Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM, Thursday to Saturday, with every other Wednesday.
