We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our team at Beacon Specialized Living Services, Inc. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities and mental health needs to live their fullest lives.
Responsibilities- Provide opportunities for residents to meet their goals and objectives.
- Adhere to person-centered plans and behavior plans for each resident.
- Ensure a safe and healthy environment, free from harm, while upholding the rights of all residents.
- Cook meals as necessary for residents, following food specifications and diets.
- Transport residents to appointments, advocate, and obtain necessary documentation.
- Assist with laundry and facility maintenance as needed.
- Administer medications to residents as required.
- Remain awake and immediately accessible in all homes requiring 24/7 care.
