Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Project Manager to lead a critical on-prem to cloud migration project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing Oracle applications, with specific expertise in cloud migration projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Lead the end-to-end management of Oracle on-prem to cloud migration projects, ensuring all deliverables meet quality and timeline expectations.
  • Migration Strategy: Define and execute migration strategies, aligning with business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with technical teams and business leaders to develop project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Resource Management: Plan and allocate resources efficiently, manage budgets, and track project costs to ensure successful project completion.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to the migration process and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
  • Oracle Expertise: Provide leadership on Oracle products, focusing on best practices for cloud migrations, configuration, and deployment.
  • Project Documentation: Ensure comprehensive documentation throughout the project lifecycle, including migration plans, status reports, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor project teams, fostering collaboration and driving performance to meet migration goals.
  • Change Management: Facilitate smooth transition to the cloud environment with minimal disruption to operations and users.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 10 years of IT project management experience, preferably in the consulting industry.
  • 5+ years of experience managing Oracle implementations, including cloud migration projects.
  • Proven expertise in Oracle ERP, Oracle Cloud, or Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) systems.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
  • Experience in on-premise to cloud migration projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Oracle certification (Oracle Cloud, Oracle EBS).
