Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the clamp truck in a safe and efficient manner
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on the clamp truck
  • Unload rolls from trailers and rail cars, checking for damage and accurately recording inventory
  • Assist the conversion operator as needed, providing support and guidance to ensure smooth production
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in the converting industry or industrial power truck operation preferred
  • Ability to read and follow instructions, as well as communicate effectively with team members
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds
