Job Description

We are seeking an experienced cybersecurity professional to teach our Cybersecurity courses. As an instructor, you will be responsible for developing and delivering course materials, evaluating student performance, and maintaining a supportive learning environment. This is an excellent opportunity to share your expertise and make a positive impact on the lives of our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and update course syllabus in consultation with the UCLA Extension Program Director
  • Prepare and deliver course materials and learning assessments in the assigned format
  • Utilize the Canvas Learning Management System as the course support platform
  • Evaluate student achievement of Specific Learning Outcomes and assign grades
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have a minimum MS degree in computer science, statistics, Information Technology or applied science, and at least five years of relevant work experience. Experience designing curriculum and measuring student performance is preferred. You should also possess highly effective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to convey conceptual and complex ideas and information.
