Job Summary:

The Timecard and Expense Coordinator will support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. This role is responsible for reviewing time sheets, work charts, wage computation, and other information to detect and reconcile labor discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compile employee time, production, and payroll data from time sheets and other records.
  • Verify attendance, hours worked, and pay adjustments, and post information onto designated records.
  • Record employee information, such as exemptions, transfers, and resignations, to maintain and update payroll records.
  • Issue and record adjustments to pay related to previous errors or retroactive increases.
  • Provide information to employees and managers on payroll matters, tax issues, and benefit policies.
  • Collect and distribute timecards and labor hours on a weekly basis.
  • Verify, and process forms and documentation for administration of benefit earning codes such as military leave, jury duty, and medical leave of absence.
  • Prepare and balance period-end reports, reconcile teammate, subcontractor and issued payrolls to posted labor and General Ledger.
  • Compile statistical reports, statements, and summaries related to pay and benefits accounts as needed.
  • Train employees on organizations' timekeeping systems and processes.
  • Conduct internal timekeeping audits; prepare documentation and support external audits as required.
  • Manage assigned projects and collaborate with cross-functional team members to deliver high-quality information to the leadership team.
  • Assist with special projects as assigned by the manager.
  • Back up for travel authorization and expense report processing (CONUS and OCONUS).

Requirements:

  • Advanced oral and written communication skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of adhering to company policies/procedures and workflow processes.
  • Self-starter with the ability to adjust to shifting work priorities in a dynamic environment with minimal oversight.
  • Responsiveness, flexibility, organization, and detail oriented.
  • Ability to perform tasks successfully with minimal oversight within short timelines.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain within 90 days of offer.
