Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Administrative Assistant to provide high-level administrative and operational support for The Farese & Walther Lab in our Cell Biology Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining protocols, coordinating lab visitors and lab recruit visits, and assisting with ordering necessary supplies. Additionally, they will support in onboarding and offboarding of lab members, manage complex lab calendars, and coordinate lab events and social functions. The ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of lab operations and be able to manage day-to-day administrative operations for the lab manager and Principal Investigators.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of lab protocols and procedures
* Coordinate lab visitors and lab recruit visits
* Assist with ordering necessary supplies and equipment
* Support in onboarding and offboarding of lab members
* Manage complex lab calendars and coordinate lab events and social functions
* Exhibit a sound understanding of lab operations and manage day-to-day administrative operations for the lab manager and Principal Investigators

**Requirements:**

* 4-7 years of proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in an academic research environment
* Experience in a bench science lab setting is strongly preferred
