Surgical Nocturnist

As a Surgical Nocturnist (PA or NP) at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, you will play a critical role in providing expert care to surgical oncology patients during overnight shifts. Collaborating with top-tier physicians and healthcare professionals, you will ensure comprehensive care for patients undergoing surgery. Key Qualifications:- Current New York State (NYS) RN and NP licenses/registrations
- NYS prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)
- 2-3+ years of related clinical experience within oncology, preferably within surgery
- Related National NP certification
- BLS, ACLS
- A strong decision-maker, recognized for making timely decisions that drive the organization forward.
- Skilled at navigating and working effectively in environments with complex or conflicting information.
- Able to gain support and commitment from others by engaging them with your perspective and priorities.
- An effective communicator, comfortable interacting with diverse teams and patient populations.
- Adaptable in approach and demeanor, responding in real time to meet the evolving demands of different situations.
Hours: Full-time Nights, 13.5 hour shifts 5pm to 6:30am with weekend and holiday rotation
Location: Main Campus 1275 York Avenue
Pay Range: $130,700.00-$215,800.00
Reporting to: Manager, APP
