We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Post-Surgical Unit team at North Central Surgical Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care within the scope of the RN practice act and according to hospital policies and procedures.
- Assess patient's psychosocial, educational, and physical needs, and develop a plan of care to attain measurable goals.
- Manage acute and chronic pain on all patients, especially post-procedure or surgical patients, to alleviate suffering and improve healing.
- Deliver medication based on continual assessment, safety, and evaluation of patient response.
- Respond to patients presenting to the hospital with healthcare needs and perform MSE, following policies and procedures for follow-up.
- Current Texas Nursing License
- Current CPR and must obtain ACLS and PALS within 90 days from hire date
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Prefer at least 1-2 years experience as an RN in hospital MedSurg/Telemetry, Critical Care, Emergency, or ICU Departments
- Medical - BCBS of Texas (PPO, HDHP, or Basic Coverage Options)
