Supervisory Role: No supervisory responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain costed Bill of Materials (BOMs) along with Labor and Overhead rates.
  • Ensure accurate data entry into the ERP system as necessary.
  • Oversee inventory adjustments associated with cost accounting processes.
  • Conduct inventory valuations as needed.
  • Perform variance analysis comparing actual costs to standard costs.
  • Establish methodologies for cost allocation.
  • Assist in inventory accounting tasks.
  • Contribute to the development and oversight of inventory accounting procedures for materials and supplies.
  • Support the accounting of all inventory transactions.
  • Help reconcile records following physical inventory counts.
  • Assist in inventory valuation processes.
  • Analyze and report on stock and inventory discrepancies.
  • Support the accounting of applicable taxes and rates.
  • Calculate necessary accruals.
  • Provide insights into stock and inventory loss reporting.
Required Education:

A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required. Equivalent professional experience may be considered for certain roles.

Qualifications:
  • Less than 1 year of experience in purchasing.
  • Less than 1 year of experience in the automotive sector is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel and work at manufacturing sites is essential.
Preferred Skills:
  • Proficiency in Financial Systems (ERPs, MS Office, particularly Excel).
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
