Job Overview

Position Summary:

As a vital member of our team, you will be tasked with delivering an exceptional Customer Care experience while also supporting the sales of automotive repair services and tires. Your contributions will be essential in fostering business growth through effective sales presentations and comprehensive product knowledge. You will engage with customers over the phone, warmly welcome them into our facility, and ensure they feel valued during their visit.

Compensation: The hourly pay for this position is $17.00, with opportunities for additional earnings based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete the training program to effectively implement the Mr. Tire sales process.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers, both via phone and in-store. Engage customers, schedule appointments, build rapport, understand their needs, communicate processes and timelines, and present necessary services following the established sales protocol.
  • Assist in various customer care tasks, work order completion, register operations, facility upkeep, and ordering of outside purchases under management's guidance.
  • Act as a secondary key carrier, responsible for basic and detailed opening and closing tasks.
  • Adhere to all policies regarding cash, credit, check, refunds, and returns. Collaborate with management to address customer service issues and complaints.
  • Effectively communicate all products and services offered by Mr. Tire to customers.
  • Work with management to maintain a safe and healthy work environment in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies.
  • Ensure the customer waiting area is organized and tidy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A valid driver's license and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) are necessary.
  • Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to accurately document sales work orders and explain services to customers.
  • Proficient problem-solving abilities.
  • Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

This role operates within an automotive service environment, which may involve exposure to moderate noise levels, adverse weather conditions, chemicals, odors, dirt, and dust. General Service Technicians should be capable of performing various tasks as required.
