This role involves close collaboration with surgeons and medical professionals within the organization, ensuring that patient care is coordinated and adheres to established protocols and guidelines as set forth by the attending surgeon.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive care for patients in surgical settings.
  • Assist in surgical procedures and manage pre-operative and post-operative care.
  • Work alongside General Surgeons, Colo-Rectal Surgeons, Bariatric Surgeons, and Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Surgeons.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant Program - Required
  • Bachelor's Degree - Required

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years in a healthcare or medical role as a Physician Assistant - Required
  • Experience in surgical care across various specialties - Required

Licensure and Certifications:

  • California Physician Assistant License - Required
  • National Certification from the NCCPA - Required
  • DEA Registration - Required
  • BLS Certification - Required
  • ACLS Certification - Preferred

Work Schedule: 08:00 - 17:00, Exempt Position

Compensation: $138.11 per hour, based on relevant experience and licensure.

Weekly Hours: 40 hours
