Job Title: American Sign Language Instructor

Job Summary:

Germanna Community College is seeking a qualified American Sign Language Instructor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching ASL courses in a classroom environment to students with a variety of academic backgrounds and experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach ASL courses in a classroom environment
  • Develop and implement course materials and assessments
  • Provide individualized support to students
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum

Requirements:

  • Master's degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in the specific discipline
  • Official transcripts required prior to final offer
  • Ability to demonstrate the use of relevant technology and learning management systems
  • Commitment to student engagement in the online teaching environment
