Opportunity Details

KFA seeks a seasoned Project Manager with over 10 years of expertise in planning, design, and project management related to municipal water and wastewater treatment facilities. This role is available in any of our Texas offices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams in creating technical reports, plans, and specifications for diverse water treatment and wastewater projects.
  • Develop facility assessment and design reports, conduct design calculations, perform process and hydraulic modeling, select and size equipment, and prepare construction documents.
  • Manage project tasks, budgets, schedules, and maintain client relationships.
  • Mentor junior and technical staff members.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Possession of a Texas PE license or the ability to obtain one within 12 months of employment
  • Over 10 years of experience in municipal water and wastewater facility design, focusing on process evaluation and construction
  • Minimum of 3 years in project management and client service with proven budget and schedule control
  • At least 3 years of experience in mentoring junior staff
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying engineering concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with BioWin, Sumo, and/or GPS-X process models
  • Experience in proposal preparation and interview participation
