KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage correspondence requests through both manual and automated systems, ensuring accurate documentation of customer service interactions.
- Address prescription pull requests, reprocess as necessary, and collaborate with pharmacists to secure required documentation for request resolution.
- Data management tasks include input and validation, Quality Assurance (QA) processes, and adherence to established protocols, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Engage in Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives within and outside the department.
- Execute all assigned QA responsibilities effectively.
- Compile and organize data for reporting purposes.
- Prepare and manage work for both onsite and offsite storage.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as needed.
- High School diploma or equivalent experience.
- 0-1 years of relevant experience; experience in Dispensing/Fulfillment is preferred.
- Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration as mandated by state regulations.
- Basic mathematical abilities and proficiency in general computer applications, including Microsoft Office, Internet, and email.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Meticulous attention to detail, accuracy, and quality is required.
- Ability to adapt and collaborate in a dynamic environment, learning quickly and solving problems with minimal supervision.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced production setting.
- Flexibility to work varied hours to meet peak demand periods.
- A willingness and capability to learn internal systems, processes, and programs as necessary.
- Physical capability to walk, stand, and perform repetitive lifting of boxes weighing up to 35lbs, with prescription handling comprising 95% of work time.
