Job SummaryWe are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team, responsible for consulting with owners, engineers, and customers on technical matters related to product application, construction specifications, and installation procedures. The successful candidate will drive specification inclusion, support sales efforts, and investigate customer complaints to ensure optimal product performance.
Key Responsibilities- Presents technical information to engineers, municipalities, contractors, and owners to promote product adoption and specify inclusion.
- Supports sales staff in driving revenue growth.
- Investigates customer complaints and recommends remedial actions to resolve dissatisfaction, including financial settlements when necessary.
- Counsels owners and representatives on proper product application and assists in drafting project specifications incorporating industry standards.
- Collaborates with designers to develop product systems meeting specific project needs, adhering to ANSI, AWWA, ISO, and other applicable design procedures.
- Trains installation personnel on proper assembly and installation techniques.
- Negotiates with customers to resolve product-related issues and ensures customer satisfaction.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil or Mechanical preferred).
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certificate preferred; Professional Engineer (PE) license desired or ability to obtain.
- Waterworks or Public Utilities experience essential.
- Proven problem-solving skills and excellent communication, verbal, and written abilities.
- Able to apply standard engineering principles to situations and develop solutions minimizing customer work stoppage.
- Familiarity with construction equipment and practices a plus.
