Job OverviewAt Horrocks, we value the importance of water resources projects and are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team. As a Professional Engineer for Water Resources, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects including water resources planning, transmission, sewer collection, stormwater drainage, flood control, and/or water and wastewater treatment.

About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for designing and analyzing water resources projects, preparing studies, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates. You will also support project managers with client relations, stakeholder management, and sub-consultant coordination. Additionally, you will interface with clients, including state and local agencies, and coordinate meetings with project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and analysis of water resources projects, including pipelines, pump stations, tanks, and reservoirs.
  • Prepare studies, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for various water resources projects.
  • Support project managers with client relations, stakeholder management, and sub-consultant coordination.
  • Interface with clients, including state and local agencies.
  • Coordinate and conduct meetings with project stakeholders.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) is required.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in hydraulics design, including roadway drainage and flood control facilities.
  • Experience in managing technical staff and project teams is desirable.
