Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial/OTR Tire Technician to join our team at Best One Tire and Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing tire service and alignment for commercial vehicles and large equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect vehicles using commercial TIA standards and advise customers and management of necessary repairs.
Align front ends and suspension systems using alignment equipment.
Drive service trucks to customer locations and requested road service calls.
Raise and lower vehicles safely using hydraulic or floor jacks.
Safely operate all shop machinery, including safety cages, spreaders, balancers, floor jacks or lifts, air-powered tools, torque wrenches, and torque sticks.
Safely operate all service truck machinery, including boom and hook.
Read work orders thoroughly and perform all listed tasks.
Perform general housekeeping duties.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
Ability to work in a fast-paced customer service-oriented environment.

Physical Demands:

Frequent lifting over 50 pounds from ground to chest high.
Frequent squatting, bending, and twisting.
Repetitive motion.
Sustained vibrations.
Standing for extended periods.
Work in an environment that is not climate controlled, with temperatures ranging from extremely hot to extremely cold.
Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, safety harnesses, and steel-reinforced footwear.
