Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at The GEO Group, Inc. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality healthcare services to inmates/detainees in a correctional setting.

About the Role:

As a LPN, you will work closely with our Registered Nurse (RN) to develop and implement individualized nursing care plans. You will perform physical assessments, administer medications, and provide education to patients on their medical conditions and treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the RN
• Perform physical assessments and administer medications as prescribed
• Provide education to patients on their medical conditions and treatment plans
• Collaborate with the RN to ensure seamless care delivery
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current, unrestricted license to practice as a LPN in the state where the facility is located
• Two (2) years of direct work experience preferred
• Ability to work without direct supervision in performing nursing diagnosis and providing follow-through treatment
