Key Qualifications:
Ensure the Secure Socket Layer/Transport Layer Security (SSL/TLS) offloading and management of PKI authentication features provided by the F5 appliance are consistently operational.
Ensure that load balancing configurations and PKI certificates are securely backed up in accordance with client policies.
Notify load balancing and reverse proxy clients ahead of PKI certificate expiration and assist with renewals as required.
Create, manage, and troubleshoot load-balanced IP address allocations.
Develop and implement technical solutions in partnership with engineers and architects.
Provide after-hours support to 24/7/365 IT Operations Center personnel to aid in troubleshooting service disruptions.
Develop and update technical solutions, operational procedures, and documentation for 24/7/365 IT Operations Center personnel to facilitate initial troubleshooting and triage efforts.
Essential Skills:
Proficient in administering and managing F5 load balancer appliances within an enterprise context.
Familiarity with standards, concepts, and tools necessary for effective monitoring and management of F5 appliances.
Technical expertise in backing up PKI certificates and appliance configurations.
Extensive experience in creating, managing, and troubleshooting load-balanced IP address allocations.
Ability to work independently in alignment with customer requirements.
Experience collaborating with team members on requirements and solutions.
Familiarity with IT Service Management tools such as ServiceNow.
Certifications:
Candidates must meet the DoD IAT Level II certification requirements (currently Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, or SSCP).
Candidates must hold an F5 Certified Administrator (201) or higher certification.
Education:
A Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with less than 2 years of experience.
Education equivalency of an Associate's degree with 4 years of related experience or a High School Diploma with 6 years of related experience can be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
Security Clearance:Due to the nature of the government contracts we support, US Citizenship is required.
TS/SCI with Poly required for Position or TS/SCI and willingness to obtain a poly.
Compensation:
Pay Range $55, $99,875.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level serves as a general guideline and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) job responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreements (if any), or other legal considerations.
