Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at MaineHealth. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide Respiratory Care services to our inpatient and outpatient population as medically indicated under the direction or indirect supervision of the Respiratory Care Department's Manager and Medical Director.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver Respiratory Care to patients from neonate to geriatric, 24-hours a day, 7 days a week
* Work in collaboration with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care
* Maintain professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and educational programs
* Participate in smoking cessation classes and other educational programs
Requirements:
* Graduate from an AMA-approved school of Respiratory Therapy
* State of Maine Respiratory Therapy License
* RRT licensure preferred and required for candidates with less than 5 years of experience
* CRTT licensed candidates must have greater than 5 years of experience
* BLS required
* ACLS strongly preferred
* One year of acute care experience preferred
