Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality care to our inpatient and outpatient population. As a key member of our Respiratory Care Department, you will work under the direction of our Manager and Medical Director to deliver respiratory care services 24/7.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver respiratory care to patients from neonate to geriatric, ensuring personalized and compassionate care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families on respiratory health and disease management.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory requirements and departmental standards.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in respiratory care.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an AMA-approved school of Respiratory Therapy.
  • State of Maine Respiratory Therapy License; RRT licensure preferred for candidates with less than 5 years of experience.
  • CRTT licensed candidates must have greater than 5 years of experience.
  • BLS certification required; ACLS strongly preferred.
  • One year of acute care experience preferred.
