Position Overview

Interim HealthCare Staffing provides the flexibility of a customizable work schedule while ensuring the stability of employment with a reputable organization.

We are in search of a devoted and empathetic Home Health Nurse (RN) to become an integral part of our healthcare team. In this role, you will be essential in delivering exceptional healthcare services to patients within their own residences. Your main duties will include evaluating, planning, executing, and reviewing personalized care strategies for patients with diverse health issues.

Home Health Nurse (RN) Position Details:

  • Type: 13-week contract
  • Location: King County

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver in-home direct patient care in accordance with the prescribed care plan while closely monitoring patient progress and recovery.
  • Evaluate and document patient conditions, reporting any changes as necessary (including vital signs, blood/stool/urine tests, glucose levels, etc.).
  • Administer medications, insulin, and IV fluids, ensuring thorough documentation.
  • Examine and manage wounds, change dressings, and assist with personal hygiene tasks.
  • Assess patients for potential injuries, infections, or bedsores, providing appropriate treatments.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, aides, and allied health professionals to ensure outstanding patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Active RN License in Washington State.
  • A minimum of 12 months of experience as a Home Health Nurse (RN).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Two (2) positive professional references.
  • Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
