Position Overview

We are in search of a caring and committed Home Health Nurse (RN) to enhance our healthcare services. In this role, you will be essential in delivering top-notch medical care to patients within their residences. Your key duties will include evaluating, planning, executing, and reviewing tailored care strategies for individuals with diverse health issues.

Position Details for Home Health Nurse (RN):

  • Contract duration: 13 weeks
  • Service area: King County

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver in-home direct patient care in accordance with the prescribed care plan and nursing standards while monitoring patient progress and recovery closely.
  • Evaluate and document patient conditions, reporting any changes as necessary (including vital signs, blood/stool/urine tests, glucose levels, etc.).
  • Administer medications, insulin, and IV fluids, ensuring thorough documentation.
  • Examine and manage wounds, change dressings, and assist with personal hygiene tasks.
  • Assess patients for potential injuries, infections, or bedsores, and provide appropriate treatments.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, aides, and allied health professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Valid RN License in Washington State.
  • At least 12 months of experience as a Home Health Nurse (RN).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Two (2) positive professional references.
  • Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
