Work Schedule: Relief
Shift Availability:
- Flexible shifts available for coverage
Role Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during procedures as needed.
- Conduct all specialized procedures in accordance with departmental protocols.
- Participate in emergency call rotations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Radiology Director.
- Adhere to the established "Standard of Behavior" guidelines.
- Prepare patients for sterile procedures and maintain a sterile environment.
- Select appropriate technical parameters tailored to each patient examination.
- Foster ethical relationships and collaborate effectively with all team members.
- Incorporate patient and physician needs into decision-making processes.
- Assist in patient transfers and positioning.
- Apply sterile dressings to injection sites.
- Initiate and support Code Blue procedures when necessary.
- Ensure cleanliness and disinfection of equipment in procedure areas.
- Maintain accurate records of all procedures performed.
- Utilize the Cerner System efficiently, troubleshooting issues and making necessary corrections.
- Set up and manage all physiological monitoring equipment and supplies.
- Prepare the procedure room, including establishing a sterile field and selecting the appropriate catheters and guidewires.
- Provide necessary immobilization devices.
- Effectively use PACS and Cerner systems.
- Operate the Medrad Injector, ensuring correct pressure, rates, and volumes for injections.
- Maintain and operate all relevant equipment.
- Calculate catheter data accurately.
- Administer contrast media and medications, including starting IVs as directed by physicians.
