We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Social Worker to join our team at the DASH Crisis Center. Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive intake assessments, including telephonic and in-person evaluations, to identify client needs and develop effective treatment plans.
- Provide crisis intervention services, including de-escalation techniques and physical restraint training, to ensure client safety and well-being.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate treatment, linkage, and follow-up services, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal client outcomes.
- Document all clinical interactions and treatment plans in accordance with NYS Office of Mental Health guidelines, utilizing electronic medical records to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with clients, families, and community partners to promote trust, respect, and effective communication.
- Master's Degree in Social Work or related field required.
- LMSW, LMHC, LMFT, or related licensed clinical degree required.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in a behavioral health setting, with clinical experience preferred.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, with experience in electronic health records a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills, with ability to problem-solve, multitask, and work effectively in a team environment.
- Valid and clean NYS Driver's License and ability to safely operate a motor vehicle required for Mobile Response Team.
