As a key player in the industry, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Associate Account Executive to join our non-profit division.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate and up-to-date account folders in accordance with internal quality control guidelines.
- Verify policy coverages and endorsements for accuracy and relevance on all new business and renewals.
- Prepare proposals, policy summaries, and reviews, ensuring compliance with company operating procedures.
- Process endorsements, placement requests, and invoicing, including credit, debit, and monthly reports.
- Review policies for accuracy and adequacy of coverage, including rating calculations.
- Collaborate with the accounting department to research and justify premium charges.
- Handle or refer insureds' and underwriters' questions, providing timely and accurate responses.
- Perform other specific duties as directed by the Account Executive.
- Pursue ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- 3-5 years of related experience in insurance brokers or carriers, with a preference for non-profit accounts.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- A valid P&C license.
- Detail-oriented with strong mathematical and communication skills.
- Ability to understand, analyze, and research different lines of insurance.
- Ability to work within designated time frames.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with an agency management system preferred.
