Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in court as necessary.
- Oversee the division of marital assets.
- Conduct initial consultations with prospective clients.
- Analyze client situations to develop strategic legal plans.
- Collaborate with colleagues to effectively progress cases through divorce, custody, and support processes.
- Utilize technology tools such as Clio, Slack, Lawmatics, and LawYaw for case management and communication.
Qualifications
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, particularly in high-stress situations.
- Active member in good standing with the California State Bar, with no disciplinary record.
- A minimum of 2 years of recent and substantial experience as a family law attorney in California, focusing on child custody, child support, spousal support, and divorce.
- Experience in conducting initial consultations is preferred.
