Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Specialist to join our team at the California State Government. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of our buildings and grounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pick up debris, trash, and litter from buildings, grounds, recreation, and parking areas, and empty trash cans.
  • Clean and supply restrooms, clean, mop, vacuum, and dust offices and rooms, wax floors, and wash windows.
  • Weed planted areas as assigned.
  • Clear blocked drains and traps.
  • Operate scooters and pick up trucks.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
