Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Content Strategist & Community Outreach Coordinator to join our team at National Experienced Workforce Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing outreach and communication materials to engage diverse sectors of the community in the planning process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conceive, write, and edit planning materials to communicate with the public and document the planning process, including writing and editing of draft and final concept and site plans, resource analyses, implementation plans, and related planning products.
  • Assist in planning and supporting community outreach and engagement through the preparation of outreach and communication materials focused on each RTCA project as needed, working with the NPS RTCA monitor.
  • Engage in graphic design and production of outreach, milestone, and final planning products working with the RTCA project monitor.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in communications with a focus on writing and editing, or MA/MS Degree in Writing and Communications, or previously completed training in InDesign.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with community planning, outdoor recreation, and conservation topics and processes as a communications professional.
  • Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Working Conditions
  • Occasional site visits will require walking on trails and at times uneven surfaces in natural settings.
  • Remote work arrangements are available for this position.
