Position Overview:

We are in search of a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with extensive experience in patient care and a solid understanding of specific patient populations. The LPN will deliver both direct and indirect nursing care to patients and their families in routine nursing scenarios, under the guidance and supervision of a registered nurse or licensed provider.

The responsibilities include:

  • Assisting physicians and registered nurses in ensuring patient comfort, care, and treatment.
  • Performing a variety of semi-skilled nursing tasks.
  • In complex situations requiring urgent care, functioning under the direct supervision of an RN or licensed provider.

All interactions and duties are conducted in alignment with Emory Healthcare's patient and family-centered care standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting daily inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
  • Maintaining exam and treatment rooms in accordance with infection control policies and clinic protocols.
  • Documenting patient vital signs, including temperature, respiration, pulse, and blood pressure, as well as other measurements in the electronic medical record.

Qualifications:

Must be a graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program.
