We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MRI Technologist to join our team at Professional Performance Development Group, Inc. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate MRI scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Position patients correctly for MRI examinations and make technical adjustments as needed.
- Administer contrast agents and other medications as required.
- Monitor patients' conditions during MRI examinations and respond to any medical emergencies.
- Process digital images and submit them for interpretation by radiologists.
- Document all procedures and maintain accurate records.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on MRI equipment.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)).
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with GE and Siemens MRI scanners.
- Knowledge of MRI safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
